Do you get restless on a Sunday anxious about the upcoming Monday? If you do, you are in for a treat! Let’s turn those Sundays into Fun Days!
I want you to brew a cup of tea or make some green juice and prepare yourself for some inspiration and entertainment to get you out of that funk. Keep a pen, a notebook, and your calendar by your side because you will want to bottle those inspirations so you can take them “to-go” for the week ahead. Writing it down, putting it in the calendar, and making a step by step plan makes it more likely to accomplish your goals. Here are few things I found helpful on my side of the web this week.
- Plan and prepare your breakfasts. Planning and preparing your breakfasts makes my mornings calmer and smoother. Most of the time I know exactly what I am going to be eating. This helps me avoid making decisions in the morning especially when my brain is not fully awake yet. My current routine is to make my green smoothie, put it in a thermos, and drink it when I get to work, when I get hungry. This week I'll also be preparing some of these jazzed up yoghurts for a tasty afternoon snack.
- Rejig your intentions and goals for the future. What better day than a Sunday to go over your intention for the coming week. Read this article to guide you through it. Check if your to-do lists align with your values and what you want for your future. Since today is first of June go back and check on your new years resolutions too, while you are at it.
- Get calm & energised by doing some yoga. Feeling frazzled and stressed out? Do a few sun salutations and warrior poses. Even three minutes of it can make you feel much better.I have been doing this Good Morning yoga sequence for over a year now, it takes no more than five minutes and it always manages to make me feel better.
By now your tea is finished and your notebook has plenty of scribbles. I hope you are calmer, more inspired, and looking forward to the new week with a fresh perspective.
With love & simplicity,
